Out of operational need, we've developed eQrecorder, a straight forward audio recorder, designed to make commentary recording quick and easy. It's available here, as freeware. eQrecorder goes straight into monitoring mode when started, so levels can be set with the sliders. Then hit the record button to automatically create a wave file for import into Avid or Pro Tools etc. Comes with spectrum level and status software to see your audio codes and free hard drive space.
